Everyone knows that you need willpower to reach your health and wellness goals…
But, has anyone actually ever taught you how to use willpower?
No?
That’s what I thought. If we’re all supposed to rely on willpower, how come no one has ever taught us how to use it?
That’s all about to change because I’m going to teach you a super quick willpower method to fast-track your health and wellness goals. Soon, you’ll be jumping out of bed to get to the gym– no more hitting the snooze button.
The Two Ways to Use Willpower
There are two ways to use willpower. One way is to NOT DO something–like not eat an extra piece of pizza.
Or, you can use willpower to DO something–like put your phone away and go to bed.
Today, you’re going to learn a Willpower Method to DO something.
At Real Healthy Habits we teach you to use willpower only in an emergency. Instead, you want to make healthy habits, so you don’t have to rely on willpower for most day-to-day things! You want to make a habit to go to the gym each morning (not rely on willpower.)
Willpower Emergencies Happen
But, let’s get real–Willpower emergencies happen. Your bed is warm and cozy. The last thing you want to do is get up at ZERO DARK THIRTY and do 100 burpees at the gym. So you hit the snooze button and then you hit it again. Now, you have yourself a willpower emergency. That’s when The Blast-off Willpower Habit comes in handy.
Your Brain Wants to Be Lazy
Before we get to the willpower hack, there’s one thing you need to know. It’s about the subconscious, habit part of your brain. We call this your Autopilot brain. And the thing you need to know about your Autopilot brain is that your Autopilot brain is like a TEENAGER. It wants pleasure, wants to avoid pain, and wants to be lazy. It wants you to sit on the couch, eating potato chips, and binge-watching Netflix.
